Pete Versus Toby is a fantastic men's wear label that I am familiar with, so when a Facebook invitation suggested I attend a runway show in Brisbane (about 40-50 minutes away) I jumped at the chance to cover it backstage. I texted one half of the duo, Antoine, asking him 'who do I have to root around there to get me behind the scenes' (not really, but makes a decent story) and he swiftly pointed me in the direction of Dave, the event organiser of the night. A bit of fondling later, and my team was set to go! Even after my voice recorder broke and left me wondering around with a pad and pen all night, it all went fantastic! The staff at the venue, the Alhambra Lounge in Brisbane, were also great. They gave us 2 private escorts for the duration of our stay, a man named Raphael was one of them I recall. Anyway, here are a few snaps from the first installment of photos I've received that I most likely won't be using in the upcoming article, but remind me of the good time we had.
