Update | Josh Beech Q&A

If you don't know who Josh Beech is, get to know him now. I recently got in contact with Jaga Gajewska who runs the men's division at Josh's New York agency, dna Modeling Management asking for some one on one time with Josh. "We'd love for him to have a chat with you!" she said. Yeah, she said that almost a month ago now. I tried to do the process as quickly as possible because Josh's sell-out UK band Hildamay was set to record new material pretty soon after and I would have loved to talk to him before the band did so, but chances are unlikely now. Hopefully I'll be able to get this all done soon. I'm a huge fan of Josh Beech, so I bet it'll be worth all the wait.

UPDATE (29/12/2009): I've been doing lots of stuff over the past months, and apparently this interview got lost in the e-mail, Jaga is trying to dig up the grave whilst I set out for some more dirt.

Photos | Pete Versus Toby, Brisbane

- This model just had a cast taken off his newly repaired broken arm, I'm documenting on the right.

- Shredded Nudie jeans and a dash of Pete Versus Toby goes down pretty good.

- I would definitely say I felt physically inadequate for the show on the night.

- A group shot of the models, Amritta, Dave, Myself and Ashleigh.

Pete Versus Toby is a fantastic men's wear label that I am familiar with, so when a Facebook invitation suggested I attend a runway show in Brisbane (about 40-50 minutes away) I jumped at the chance to cover it backstage. I texted one half of the duo, Antoine, asking him 'who do I have to root around there to get me behind the scenes' (not really, but makes a decent story) and he swiftly pointed me in the direction of Dave, the event organiser of the night. A bit of fondling later, and my team was set to go! Even after my voice recorder broke and left me wondering around with a pad and pen all night, it all went fantastic! The staff at the venue, the Alhambra Lounge in Brisbane, were also great. They gave us 2 private escorts for the duration of our stay, a man named Raphael was one of them I recall. Anyway, here are a few snaps from the first installment of photos I've received that I most likely won't be using in the upcoming article, but remind me of the good time we had. Thanks to Amritta for keeping me company and a bigger thanks to Ashleigh Mitchels who was my photographer for the night! You can find more of the photos from the night at Ashleigh Mitchels' blog.
